Göttliche
Morbidität
Man
fühlt sich wie in der Mitte eines Flusses
mit
dem Namen Nostalgie.
Ein
Fluss voller Erinnerungen,
entstanden
aus den Trümmerresten der Welt.
Erinnerungen
an flüchtige Vogelschwärme,
welche
ein anderes Mal erneut
die
Nester bauen werden, die zerstört wurden.
Zerschmetterte
Eierschalen,
Tiere
mit umgedrehten Hälsen
und
tote Augen, verloren im Raum.
Eine
Welt verstümmelter Hoffnungen
und
erstickter Triebe.
Eine
Welt, in der man schmuggeln muss,
um
den warmen Atem des Lebens zu spüren,
wo
die Währung sich ändert
für
einen Flecken Land,
für
einen Schatten von Freiheit.
Alles
vermischt sich zu einem Einheitsbrei,
den
man wie ein geschmackloses sakramentales Brot schluckt.
Jeder
Bissen
symbolisiert
fünf Millionen Jahre Trauer,
fünf
Millionen Jahre Asche und
zersplitterte
Eierschalen.
Von
der ganzen Tiefe der Grube des menschlichen Herzens
kommt
das Echo schmerzvoller Noten des Vergessens.
Sie
bauen weiterhin große, hochfliegende Städte.
Sie
schuften ohne jeden Zweck.
warten in furchtsamer Geduld.
Sie
sind die Rächer der Bedeutungslosen.
Sie
werden sich erheben, wenn alles zerfällt
und
sich in Staub auflöst.

Morbi Dei
Te sientas en medio de un río
llamado
Nostalgia.
Un río
lleno de recuerdos
recogidos
entre los restos del naufragio del mundo.
Recuerdos
de bandadas de pájaros fugitivos
que
construyeron una y otra vez
nidos que fueron
destruidos,
cáscaras de
huevo aplastadas,
animales
con el cuello retorcido
y ojos
muertos clavados en el espacio.
Un mundo de
esperanzas mutiladas,
de
aspiraciones sofocadas.
Un mundo
en que
hasta el cálido hálito de la vida
tiene que
transitar de contrabando,
en que se
cambia moneda,
por un
metro de espacio,
por un poco
de libertad.
Todo se
combina en un paté-familiar,
que se
traga en una hostia sin gusto.
En cada
bocado,
van cinco
mil años de amargura,
cinco mil
años de cenizas,
de cáscaras
de huevo aplastadas.
En el
profundo sótano del corazón del hombre,
suenan
dolorosas notas de olvido.
Sigan
construyendo ciudades enormes y elevadas.
Sigan
trabajando sin saber para qué.
No dejen de
dormir ni una
de sus
acostumbradas noches sin sueños.
Por debajo
de esta tierra que pisamos,
vive otra
raza de hombres.
Son
grandes, sombríos, apasionados.
Se abren
paso hasta las entrañas de la tierra.
Esperan con
una paciencia aterradora.
Son los
vengadores de lo sin sentido.
Van a
emerger cuando todo se venga abajo
y quede
reducido a polvo.

Morbi Dei
You feel like in the middle of a river
called
Nostalgia.
A
river filled with memories
picked
from the world wreck’s
remains.
Memories
of fugitive birds’ flocks
which
will, another time, make again
the
nests that have been destroyed,
crashed
egg-shells,
head-wrung
animals
and
dead eyes lost in space.
A
world of mutilated hopes,
of
smothered urges.
A
world
where,
until the warm breath of life,
you
have to smuggle,
where
the currency changes
for a
patch of ground,
for a
shadow of freedom.
Everything
blends into a universal soup
which
you swallow like a tasteless Sacramental bread.
Each
bite
holds
five million years of sorrow,
five
million years of ashes
of
crashed egg-shells.
Throughout
the human heart’s deep cave
painful
notes of oblivion resound.
They
keep on building big, soaring towns.
They
keep on toiling without any purpose.
They
don’t give up sleeping in any
of
their ordinary dreamless nights.
Under
this ground we step on,
another
human race lives.
Its
people are great, sombre, passionate.
They
make their way up to the earth’s inmost depth.
They
wait with a fearsome patience.
They
are the avengers of the meaningless one.
They
will rise when everything wrecks
and
turns into dust.

Dei, 1985,
