Good-bye, Germany?

It is not me

who is leaving,

but you are pressing me

as you have changed

your valuation of freedom and democracy.

By dictation you are achieving

new rules for steering the publicity,

controlling systems, a lot, have been arranged,

hindering freedom of meaning and speech,

even manipulating free elections.

Education and infrastructure are rotten,

but war preparations are preached,

mountains of debts for weapons,

also financing strange energy management,

and tirades of hatred are reached,

news and truth are checked by ideological selections,

honor and respect are widely forgotten,

murder in the open public – just happens.

And then punishment?

O politics and justice!

But, Germany, I am telling you just this:

OK, you are severely ill,

but lots of your people are healthy, still.

There are so many others of sane sense

who I value and can even adore.

And, in addition one aspect more:

The beautiful landscapes of this country, of this land

will never expel me out, in no extents,

with all consequence.

To this “Heart of Europe” I reach out my hand.

That's where I stand as a cosmopolitan and pacifist.

So, actually I don't say “Good-bye” but again and again

I repeat “Auf Wiederseh'n”!

I trust in your reconciliation

as a powerful but peaceful nation.

That's what I am longing for,

for the benefit of us all here but even more:

For Mankind and humane life,

I do write and strive.

Can one argue as a realist?

Written on my cosmonomic location “Hohe Freiheit 24” in Germany,

as a friendly invitation

to support peace and democracy,

to strengthen emancipation and dignity,

not to make any nations or persons “greater” than others

but to encourage cultures to a greater Humanity

of Mankind and of global society.
