Knowing is meaning not to be only interested in facts and what's going on, but also to be eager enough and to make an effort to get to know.
Knowledge is giving fun, orientation and the feeling of security and self-consciousness based on reality.
Believing is also interested in so many phenomena and feels impressed, but is easily satisfied by declarations of wonders instead of efforts for complicated analysis and deductions of correlations especially of various disciplines.
Highlight of believing is the invention of Gods who give fun, orientation and the feeling of security and self-consciousness as well, but based on hope and trust instead of reality.
Being convinced to follow the one and only right view of life and world each side is ready and prepared to fight even in fiercest consequences to perish by it or, even better of course, to erase the opponent: One simple origin of wars which I named in my earlier book “Human Believing” (Menschliches Glauben) of 2015: “Religion is a scourge for mankind”.
It is true, knowledge can be proven by objective methods and results, but these arguments are not relevant in religious convictions.
Conclusion: As long as religions are dominating by far the most human beings wars will govern the world. The way to a solution seems to be endless.
Nevertheless, enlightenment (Aufklärung) which is leaving religion has changed the human society into a more humane mankind during the last centuries.
And Cosmonomy as an enlightened consciousness will endure even though the present and future disasters.
