The years went by
and so did I.
Have a look into my face
and also discover some tiny tears
because of the amazing grace
and also of severely uprising fears
of people's stupidity and ignorance
demolishing our welfare and liberty,
people of small-mindedness and hatred, but importance
as they openly are cheating democracy,
pleading for war and ideological tyranny.
You must know
that I was a teacher,
not a preacher.
I taught English, German and Physics
with special interests in Astronomy,
often I've tried out modestly my talent in lyrics,
but more important to me has become my philosophy
which I've developed as so-called Cosmonomy.
I am worried about our future life-style to reach,
though I am meanwhile old,
as I love my wife, my three sons and their families,
grandchildren seven, a wonder of creation each.
Will our society go on getting militant and emotionally cold?
Will we accept patiently the killing of our personal identities,
starting it all with preparations for war
and erasing our values of peaceful culture before?
I can assure you that I will never agree,
until my very last days in healthy mentality
I will intellectually defend the progress of humanity
and the rights of the free.
